Like most other mattress-in-a-box brands, nectar mattresses may initially have a slight odor when unboxed, but the smell will dissipate quickly. This is normal for any new mattress and is called off-gassing. To help speed up this process, we recommend letting your new mattress breathe for a few hours in a well-ventilated room.
